The Grand Cafe

The Grand Cafe here at Waterton Park Hotel features a restaurant, lounge and bar, and with an exciting mixture of both traditional and modern dishes, there is something to suit every taste and dietary need. Treat yourself to brunch, drop in during the daytime for a spot of lunch, or possibly for a luxurious afternoon tea? When evening arrives, head to our Restaurant and enjoy both our modern menu and warm, friendly service.

The Cafe provides a nod to former owner Charles Waterton, celebrating his ‘Grand’ travels around the world during the early part of the 19th century. Fine views of his residence Walton Hall and encircling lake, can be enjoyed from the restaurant. We are proud to say we only source the best seasonal local produce, whilst our seasonal menus offer a variety of fine dishes whatever time of the year you choose to visit. We will do our upmost to help with any dietary requirements.

Our wine list boasts a wide range of styles and flavours to suit all palates and a variety of acidity, tannins and structures to complement the diverse dishes on offer. Like all good wines, it will evolve and change over time, therefore if a particular vintage or shipper is unavailable, a suitable alternative will be offered.

Dining times:

Breakfast 7am-10am (Monday-Friday) 8am-10am (Saturday-Sunday).

Snacks & sandwiches 10am-6pm. All day casual dining 12pm-9pm. Evening dining 6pm-9pm.
