A greener Waterton
A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

- We have dual flush toilets
- Sensors have been installed in some of the public toilets
Electricity
- All lighting has been changed to LED

- Energy savers in 70% of bedrooms
- Solar Panels generating electricity for Walton Hall
Gas
- Our chambermaids set the radiators to setting 2 in all rooms, guests can then adjust these accordingly.
Geo thermal Heating
- A unique system with well over 5 miles of pipes have been sunk into Walton Hall’s 26 acre lake which now provides all the heating and hot water for all the facilities in Walton Hall, leisure, bedrooms , meeting rooms, restaurant and kitchen. The result of this huge investment has negated our use of oil.
