Bedrooms Questions:

How many bedrooms are there?

We have 63 wonderfully appointed bedrooms most with stunning views over the surrounding lake, woodland or golf course. 22 bedrooms are situated on the island in Walton Hall and 41 bedrooms on the main land in Waterton Park Hotel. We also have a romantic hideaway cottage in the hotel grounds – ideal for small group getaways

What is check in time?

Your room will be ready for you from 3.00pm. Note: If on a spa break, please check in to the spa first, then head to Reception following your spa experience

Can I check in earlier?

Certainly, just leave your luggage at Reception and you may use the facilities before your room is ready

What time do I have to check out?

We kindly request you vacate your room by 11.00am

Can I guarantee an early check in / late checkout?

This is not available, but feel free to check with Reception upon arrival as your room may well be ready

Do you offer suites and family rooms?

We do. Please see the link here for information

Is breakfast included for overnight guests?

Not always. Please check your package. Breakfast can always be added to a room only booking either prior to our on arrival

Do you have disabled rooms?
Please speak to the Reservations Team prior to making your booking. They will advise when making your booking. Throughout the hotel, there are steps leading to most facilities and where possible we have placed ramps within the parameters of the hotel’s listed building status. Do you have smoking rooms?
No. All rooms at Waterton Park Hotel & Spa are non-smoking and a fine will be added to your bill if smoking takes place indoors

 

Dining Questions:

When and where is breakfast served?

Monday – Friday 7.00am to 10.00am. Saturday – Sunday 8.00am to 10.00. Served in the Grand Cafe’

What are the Restaurant opening times?

Snacks & sandwiches 10am-6pm. All day casual dining 12pm-9pm. Evening dining 6pm-9pm

Do you offer dinner inclusive packages? 

Always double check the package you are booking but we do have dinner inclusive spa packages available. The terms/allowance for these varies from package to package, but is usually £30 per person. This does not include drinks

Are dining options available to all residents?

If you are booked onto a dinner inclusive package, we will ensure a table is reserved for you. However, if you do not have dinner included, you can book a table – subject to availability – here or directly with our team

Do we need to pre book dinner? 

Yes, especially if you wish to dine at a preferred time

 

Spa Questions:

Is the Spa included in my hotel stay?

Unless you booked a specific spa stay package, then you will need to add your spa experience separately. You can do that here. We strongly recommend booking in advance due to demand. Pool access between 7am – 9am is included in your room rate

What Spa facilities are there?

Bazaar Spa is located on the ground floor of Walton Hall. It features a steam room, sauna, relaxation areas, treatment rooms, outdoor and indoor hot tubs, indoor pool and gym. Please note the spa can only be accessed by adults spa guests and adults only (you will not get access included in a room only booking). More spa information can be found here

What do I bring for Spa treatments?

We supply you with robes, towels and flip-flops during your visit. A swimming costume, or even two if you would like a dry one to change into is advised if you are also using the spa facilities

What are the age restrictions for the Spa?

The minimum age to access the spa facility is 16 (if accompanied by an adult). All treatments are restricted to those aged 18 and over

I have a treatment and Spa session booked. Does my treatment need to be taken during the session itself?

If your treatment and session were booked as part of the same package, then the treatment will be scheduled during the session itself. However, if you book them separately – you can book said treatment into any available slot

Do I need to book Spa in advance?

Our spa is in high demand. As such, we strongly recommend booking in advance. However, if we do happen to have last minute availability, you are welcome to book. Please check at Reception or click the link

Do you offer gift vouchers? 

Yes we do. These can be purchased exclusively online and sent via email. Vouchers cannot be purchased and collected at the Hotel. Click here for voucher options

Can I play golf at Waterton Park Golf Club

The hotel does not own the course, but reduced green fee rates can be enjoyed. We also offer both golf and golf/spa breaks in association with the Club. Further information here

How many meeting rooms do you have?

A range of 5 meeting rooms with capacity up to 150 guests with packages available to cater for all

Is Wi-Fi and internet access free?

Yes, it is free throughout the hotel

Yes, located at Bazaar Spa. Facilities include: cardio & resistance suite, free weights, showers and changing rooms. Opening hours Monday – Friday 6.30am to 9pm. Saturday – Sunday 7am to 9pm. 18 years+ only

Are you a dog friendly hotel?

Welcome to stay at the hotel. The charge is £20 per night for up to two dogs. They are not permitted on the island, in Walton Hall, the Spa or Grand Cafe’. Please note that guests with dogs can only book one of our designated dog friendly bedrooms. Find out more here
